JUDITH OAK ANDRAKA: Make & electrify a 1/4" room with LED lighting. Students will decorate, electrify the room. Main emphasis is LED lighting techniques. Lights outside the window, fireplace & interior fixture. Techniques include choosing LED's, assembly/installation and finishing construction. Several room configurations will be available. Contact instructor, if you have further questions. Tools needed: General tool kit, tweezers, scissors, ruler, small paintbrush, soldering iron and blue masking tape. TERESA CALLENDER: Construct a 1/4"scale Craftsman Roombox #3, the
"Kitchen". We will go back in time when space was limited. Two roomboxes to choose from; engraved or plain exterior with plexiglass top & front. You will build ceiling to floor cabinets; one unit will include an "icebox". There will be a breakfast nook with a window, floor tiled with option to tile the walls. 1/4 Gypsy Wagon
JOAN WHEATLEY: 1/4" Mouse House. This workshop will combine Joans treehouse with one of her collector cases (81/2"x14"x21/4"). Case will come painted as shown in photo; with sections put into box. We will build the treehouse and complete at least one floor of the case. You will receive papers & photos to complete the project; as there will not be enough time to complete in class. Tools needed: Flexible 1" wide plastic short ruler, tweezers, scissors, tacky glue, paper towels, wax paper; Delta Paints: Autumn Brown & Forest Green. To see a larger view, click picture. JO ANNE ROBERTS: Camille in 1890's Toilette  1"scale. Skirt has 5 gores, made of blue and cream stripe silk taffeta. Foot trimming encircles the bottom, with a narrow row of pleated blue taffeta headed by an appliqué of ivory lace & blue garniture. A wide girdle like belt encompasses the waistline. The bodice is ruched in solid blue with a lace overlay. Sleeves are ruched & done in a bouffant puff topped with frill caps. Students will learn gluing techniques, ruching and making designs with floss. Tools needed: pointed tweezers, small sharp scissors, small plastic glue bottle-metal tip w/tacky glue, sewing needles & silk pins. To see a larger view, click picture. BARBARA ANN MEYER: 1/4"scale Parisian Park . This is a fun class! Students will learn to landscape, weather and assemble pieces. Some
techniques will be demonstrated, but not made in class: pedestals, wall fountain & brick trim. Supplies needed: Detail paint brushes, small scissors, exacto knife and tweezers. Teddy Bear Pincushion
1/4" Parisian Park Scene
JAN JOHNSTON: 1/4" scale Springtime on the Patio, perfect for guests.  Students will learn to make faux stones, a realistic shade tree, shape flowers to make it bloom. You will also create a 'rock garden' and tiny floral accents from foam materials; assemble and paint the furniture. A glass dome is included to complete the project. JIM POUNDER: 1" scale Desk Lamp. Students will learn the similarities of soft and silver soldering. There will be multiple practice sessions comparing the behaviors of (2) types of solder, graduate to assembling the class project. Lamp project will require four silver solder joints, and soft soldering electrical wires. Students will have a finished working desk lamp at the end of the class.
